What's Happening in the Classrooms May 2021

Hi Families & Friends,
The warm weather is quickly approaching, and with it, that brings BUGS. Ticks are particularly bad so far this Spring, and we know that black flies and mosquitos are not far behind. Please provide bug spray for your child(ren), clearly marked with their name(s). We have sent out our consent forms for bug spray (must be provided by parents) as well as sunscreen, photo releases, and walking permission forms. You have the option of either sending your child in with personal sunscreen or have them use center supplied sunscreen. NO AEROSOL PRODUCTS PLEASE!!! Please be sure to send your child(ren) in with a water bottle, extra shoes, and extra clothes every day. |

Infants & Toddlers
Harvest week, feel free to donate any veggies or corn stalks, to assist in our cornucopia of colors and textures this week. The following week is a short week the children will be reading stories about turkeys and giving thanks for good friends and good food.

Preschool
Numbers, numbers and more numbers, please feel free to allow your child to bring in a assortment of something to count; 5 nickels, 10 pennies, 3 headbands, 3 beautiful paintings done by your child. For the next two weeks the children will be learning all about their numbers.
Science Center visit on Thursday was awesome learning about our sense of Touch, with a really active Box Turtle!
School Age
Movement week, the children will be learning about expression through movement with dance and music. The following week will be Book Week the children will be making books about being thankful.
