Hi Families & Friends,
The Squam Lakes Natural Science Center came to visit us on Tuesday, February 7th, Jeremy taught us about different mammals and their habitats, we played a matching game. We went outside and slid down the hills out back like otters sliding into the water! We followed him through the woods and made animal tracks, pretending to be weasels and voles. We smelled out the "peppermint beetle" on the trees. He brought a mink to share with us, we got to feel all sorts of different animal pelts and their skulls and teeth. Sandwich Central School and Moultonborough Central School have February vacation the week of the 27th, so families with children who may need care please sign up by Friday, the 17th. Also, if you plan to not have your child attend the SCC during the vacation week, please let their teachers know so we will not worry as to where they are. Thanks so much. Families please remember to check your children's cubbies to make sure that they have plenty of extra clothes. It is cold and wet outside! Thank so much! |
